Bitfarms Shares Rise 10% After Earning 446 Bitcoin in December

Bitfarms shares were up 10% to $3.21 in premarket trading after the company said it earned 446 Bitcoin in December.

The Bitcoin mining company said it finished the year with $118 million in liquidity, low-cost power contracts for up to 593 megawatts and a miner purchase agreement for up to 63,888 new Bitmain miners in 2024.

Bitfarms shares were up 10% to $3.21 in premarket trading after the company said it earned 446 Bitcoin in December.

The Bitcoin mining company said it finished the year with $118 million in liquidity, low-cost power contracts for up to 593 megawatts and a miner purchase agreement for up to 63,888 new Bitmain miners in 2024.

At 7:45 a.m., Bitcoin was trading at $45,545, up 15% in the past month and 173% in the past 12 months.

December production of 446 Bitcoin represented an increase of 13.8% from November. For the year ended Dec. 31, the company’s hashrate was 44% higher.

Bitfarms ended the year with $84 million in cash, $34 million in Bitcoin in treasury, and $4 million in debt.
